Our Team
Capt George Andreadakis, Founder
Born in Samos Greece, and after finishing Secondary education, sailed with small fishing boats as a cadet. Soon moved to bigger cargo vessels and 11 years later became 2nd Officer. Then joined Nicholas G. Moundreas Shipping as an insurance broker, where he stayed for about 23 years. Capt. Andreadakis is still an active member of the team and shares his valuable knowledge on a daily basis
Tassos Trechas, Managing Director
Born in Piraeus, Greece and studied in London. Worked as a trainee for Aon in London, as a placing broker into Lloyds. Spent some time with all departments at Newcastle P&I Association, a member of the Group of P&I Clubs at the time, returned to Greece. Having been raised by his god father Capt. Andreadakis, Tassos joined the company in 1998 and became the Managing Director of the Company in 2017. Tassos is involved in all covers not only of the Marine sector but is also deals with non marine covers.
Maria Efthymiadou, Accounting
Born in Piraeus and graduated from Aristoteleio University of Thessaloniki Maria together with Capt. Andreadakis are in the company since day one. She is now in charge of the Accounting department.
Pelly Koumpi, Marine and non Marine auxiliary covers
Pelly finished her secondary education and after a short career in the Tourism sector joined the company in 1997. She now deals with all War risks, K&R and other general Marine and non Marine auxiliary covers.
Nadine Andreou, Documentation
Nadine was born in Loutraki, Greece. After finishing her education worked in a large import and export Italian company. Then moving to Shipping, she joined a Managing company’s Supply department. Joined Nereus in 2015 and is in charge of the documentation department of the company.
